Creating a List of Frequently-Visited Places

To Save a Web Site Location

When you discover a Web site that you'd like to come back to or think you might visit frequently, you can save the address of the site in HotJava's Places list.

Choose Add Current to Places Menu from the Places menu.
HotJava adds the current page to the Places menu.

To revisit the site:

Choose the desired page from the bottom section of the Places menu.

To Manage the Places List

HotJava provides two levels of Places list--one "hot," for frequently-accessed sites and one "cool," for URLs you want to remember, but don't visit so often.

To move a URL from the hot Places list to the cool Remembered list:

Choose Show All Places from the Places menu.
HotJava displays the Places page.
Click on an item in the Places Menu list.
Click on the highlighted Move button to move the item to the Remembered list.
